History of Truboy Freight

Truboy Freight Int’l was created by Jim Trull in 1982 in Oakville, Ont.
The company originally consisted mainly of owner operators but over a period of time Jim Trull began to purchase his own trucks and trailers. The company quickly gained quality customers to which Truboy Freight currently continues to operate for.

After the fleet out grew the location in Oakville, Truboy Freight was forced to move to Hamilton, Ont. in 1996. The move provided more space for the growing fleet as well as for the growing maintenance department. While in Hamilton, Truboy Freight implemented a preventative maintenance program and quickly established a strong reputation for providing safe equipment.

While in Hamilton, Truboy Freight developed and expanded its own local fleet. The local fleet was implemented to increase the quality of customer service and to decrease turnover time for the highway drivers. This system continues to benefit our customers and our employees.

Truboy Freight recently purchased 5.5acres in Beamsville, Ont. The property currently provides plenty of space for the growing fleet and will also facilitate future expected growth. The shop is 8,000sq ft and will allow for future expansion in the maintenance
team in the near future.

Truboy Freight currently has 35 highway trucks and 54 trailers, which is plenty of equipment to provide our customers with the best service possible.
